I am 57 years old and have literally been using Nixoderm all my life.....
I was born with eczema and the hospital advised my mother to treat the condition with Nixoderm, which was very successful (in 1948).
As I grew up, Nixoderm was always there to treat scratches, minor cuts, insect bites, rashes, etc. It was the family's general skin ointment.
Several times through my life, I have tried other, specialised skin medecines and have always returned to Nixoderm as I find it better than all of those.
I was devastated when it was taken off the market in Australia and used what little I had very carefully until I found that I could buy it overseas. I have already bought one shipment. As soon as some friends found out I had a supply again, half of my first shipment was "stolen" from me. I will now be placing a second order.
I highly recommend this product as a general skin ointment and as a drawing ointment for pulling out something that you might have deep in a cut - I thought I had a clean cut at one point and I had treated it with another product, but it refused to heal. When I applied Nixoderm, a small piece if grass emerged from the cut 24 hours later and then the cut healed very quickly.
